This month begins my second year in Arizona, yet things still appear new and different, and I doubt that will ever change, for life here is different. For me the pace is slower, yet things get done. Since patience is one of the lessons I have had to learn in this lifetime, I have learned to control my speed for the most part when left on my own, but when others are involved, it is often difficult. Yet in the last couple of years I have finally started to learn that God has the best timing, even when I don’t understand why.
Years ago, when I lost my tile supplier for my art expressions, I found it easy to go in a new direction, because I have always been curious, but when my creative side wouldn’t leave me alone over the last several years I knew I had to return to tiles in some way, but I had no idea what to do, or where to start. Yet Divine Intelligence did, of course, and when I found myself stumbling around in my search over unfamiliar ground, surprises kept popping up that were exactly what I needed, and as I learned new ways of working with clay, using the sculptural skills I had gained in the interim working with baskets, it all helped me move my thinking away from the wall with a bas relief technique that is an exciting new beginning for me.
TIP: So this month I invite you to join me as we walk our chosen paths, greeting each day as a brand new beginning, grabbing onto each shiny golden opportunity, trying new things, not forgetting that you need to be ready to climb on board when Divine Intelligence offers them.
Why be so anxious to be ready? Because God is always there before us, providing wonderful opportunities already in the works. So believe me, we must be ready to keep up. Since each of us have our own personal desires, for better relationships, better health, more financial stability or a true work, or even wanting something we have only dreamed about, but never pursued, we must remember that we also have different gifts and talents that are our very own to use. So although we will be taking different paths toward our goals and lessons to learn, the process is still the same.
So dig deeply within to find your own gifts and talents, because you have them, and start using them to accomplish your goals with ease, for you can. Why is this true? The Divine Intelligence within each of us is always ready with the right answers, if we listen, really listen, and are brave enough to take those first steps, but be prepared to hang on tight when the seeming miraculous times come, for they can be fast, and they will be especially for us, because we must remember that we are the only ones responsible for our own lives.
