When I was beginning to get my thoughts together this month, I realized that April is the real start of spring, for the storms of winter, even the unruliness of March is past. Soft rains are falling, bringing life to the seeds below the ground, and as they stretch and open slowly, pushing their green sprouts toward the sun—they do it with ease, making April fit neatly in the Circle Of Life at the point where we learn that we should approach all of life’s challenges with ease, for that is the nature of Life. So I am taking a leap past the third law for the moment, as I touch on the Law of Least Effort.
April is a time of both new growth and regrowth, and here in the desert, plants have already started to awaken, some from a slight doze, looking much as they did as winter approached, while others rise from a deep sleep, shaking softly in the breezes, pushing out from stems and bare branches, uncurling their leaves or sprouting new ones, deepening their colors with the richness of life, while the melting high country snow trickles down to join the few spring rains, to form streams and rivers following their age old channels to the sea.
While the already lush growth is getting stronger, burgeoning with ease, baby animals are reaching out to the new world around them, searching for new life and living, while huge ravens and raptors that remained through the winter, still circle, looking for unsuspecting lunch below, and tiny sparrows feast on cholla fruit, as they watch other birds who stop to rest on their northward flights. And all this happens with the ease of nature, for April is a time of joy, laughter and singing with the birds and winds.
As I watch this easy awakening, I am reminded of how it can be in my life as well. Though my clocks seem to run slower here than they did in the city, there are things that still need to be done, and when I seem to be getting behind, I pause for a NOW moment to realize that God is still my partner in this thing called life, and together we can do anything that is mine to do, and do it with ease.
TIP: Wherever you may be, and whatever you may see that must be done, imagine nature for a moment, even if you can’t see it, take a deep breath, and call on that strength that is always within your heart, and join it to take that courageous first step, for it is time to walk in the Beauty and Grace of Divine Order along your chosen path, creating Harmony, Physical Order and Balance in your life, bringing peace, freedom and total abundance, in every way, to you and your loved ones and the world.
PS: And if you stop to multiply the 86,400 NOW Moments you know you have every day in order to change your life by the 7 days in the week, or the 30 days in the month of April, you will get 604,800 or 1,592,000 NOW easy moments to change your life.
Wow!!! That’s huge!!!!!
